Applicant was arrested on 21st January, 2021 and is charge-sheeted for an offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 304-B r/w 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

The case of the prosecution is, the complainant, sister of deceased alleged that the deceased was ill-treated on the issue of demand of dowry after her marriage with the applicant on 30th January, 2020. As a sequel of above, she was driven to commit suicide.

The applicant/husband and his parents and other relatives are implicated as accused.

It appears that all the other co-accused are released on anticipatory bail.

The fact remains that the applicant has suffered incarceration from 21st January, 2021 and the punishment prescribed is seven years to life.

In that view of the matter, it is directed that the applicant be released on bail on executing PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. 7.

Applicant shall neither influence the witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence.

8.

Applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when directed.

9.

The application as such stands disposed of.
