This Application is preferred by claimant No.2 Sagar Prakash Joshi stating that on the date of filing of the original claim petition, he was minor and now he is a major. In support of that, he placed on record a birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation for Greater mumbai.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Applicant and the averments made in the Application, I am satisfied Basavraj G Patil 1/2

2231.15-caf-caf that the Applicant has made out a case for allowing the present Civil Application.

Hence, the following order:

a) The Appellant Insurance Co. is permitted to carry out amendment in cause title of the First Appeal showing claimant No.2 Sagar Prakash Joshi as major.

b) Amendment to be carried out within a week from today.

c) Civil application stands disposed off accordingly.
