This is an application fled with a prayer that the applicant be granted extension of time of four weeks from 07/07/2021 to pay Rs. 25 lakh. Vide order dated 09/06/2021, this Court (Coram:- Prakash D. Naik,J.) had recorded that the applicant was permitted to deposit Rs. 50 lakh in the account of the complainant within a period of four weeks from 09/06/2021.This application is

preferred for extension of that period.

Learned Counsel for the applicant stated that the applicant has already deposited Rs. 25 lakh on 02/07/2021 in the complainant's account. Therefore, balance amount mentioned in the order dated 09/06/2021 remains at Rs. 25 lakh.

I have considered submissions of learned Counsel for the applicant. She submitted that because of spread of Covid-19, fnancial situation of the applicant was not sound and therefore the applicant could not pay the full amount to the complainant. For depositing the balance amount, the applicant has prayed for extension of four weeks.

Considering these submissions, extension of four weeks from today is granted to the applicant to deposit remaining amount which is referred to in the order dated 09/06/2021. The said order makes a

reference to the total amount of Rs. 50 lakhs which was to be deposited, out of which Rs. 25 lakhs are deposited on 02/07/2021.

Therefore the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

The Interim application is disposed of.
