By the present application, the applicant seeks extension of time to furnish the sureties as directed by this court by releasing him on bail on 25/03/2022. His application came to be allowed by permitting him to be released on bail on furnish PR bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant and perused the application. The applicant states that he was unable to arrange for the sureties and seeks extension of four weeks to abide by the said condition, as imposed upon him.

Considering the bona fides, the time is extended for four weeks. It is however, made clear that on failure to furnish the sureties, within the time stipulated, he shall forfeit the benefit to be released on bail.

The application is disposed off.
