The petitioner claims to be a project affected person. The petitioner therefore, approached the State Government by an application dated 21 May 2015 seeking allotment of an alternate land as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Resettlement of Project Displaced Persons Act,1976 The grievance of the petitioner is that his application is pending consideration and no decision has been taken on the application so far. 2.

As this is the only grievance of the petitioner, we dispose of the petition by directing Respondent No.2 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21 May 2015 as expeditiously as possible and in any

All contentions of the petitioner on merits of the issues are kept open.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
