P.C:- SMITA RAJNIKANT JOSHI Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, the learned AGP for the State and the learned Counsel for the contesting Respondent No.4.

The contention is that Petitioners have raised an objection with regard to an apportionment and entitlement to the amount of compensation. The Competent Authority had heard the matter and closed it 'for order' on 5th May, 2020. Thereafter, the order is not passed by the Competent Authority.

The learned AGP on instructions submits that the matter was heard but subsequently orders were not passed. Considering the fact that the matter was heard on 5th May, 2020 and the order is not yet passed, the Competent Authority will have to conduct the re-hearing of the matter.

59-wp-4338-2022.doc In light of the above, we pass the following order:- (i) The parties shall appear before the Competent Authority on 4th May, 2022. The Competent Authority shall thereafter hear all the parties and take decision on the objections of the Petitioners preferably within three months from the date of appearance of the parties. All contentions of the respective parties are kept open. Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
