This is an application for condonation of delay of 97 days in filing Criminal Appeal (Stamp) No.9425/2022. 2.

The applicant was convicted and sentenced by the Additional Sessions Judge and Special Judge (POCSO), Nashik vide his judgment and order dated 3.1.2022 passed in Sessions Case (POCSO) No.398/2018. The applicant was convicted for commission of offences punishable under Sections 354, 354-D of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Deshmane(PS)

It is mentioned in this application for condonation of delay that he was in bad economic condition. He comes from the background of being labourers. 4.

Considering the applicant'

s poor financial state, in the interest of justice, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. The appeal be processed further. Interim Application is disposed of accordingly.
