Having heard the learned Counsel for respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing respondent No. 2-Deputy Director of Education, Nashik Region, Nashik to decide the proposal sent by respondent No. 4 regarding approval to petitioner's appointment as assistant teacher as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. The Deputy Director of Education is at liberty to consider the representation in the light of G.R. dated 5/9/1980 issued by the School Education department in this regard. 29.wp8385.17.doc It is made clear that we have not gone into merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open and said representation shall be decided independently on its own merits and in accordance with law.

In order to enable respondent No. 2 Deputy Director to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before him alongwith copy of the said representation as well as copy of present order on 19/3/2018.

The Petition stands disposed of.
