In all these matters, the order is passed in the month of December, 2020 directing equal pay for equal work. Payment has to be made by the Zilla Parishad.
The learned Counsel for the Zilla Parishad submits that the proposal is already sent to the Government for release of the funds. The funds are not been released by the Government. It is high time the State Authority and the Authority of the Zilla Parishad take serious efforts to make payment to the Petitioners and comply the orders passed by this court. As the proposal is already submitted by the Government for release of the funds for making payment to the Petitioners as per the orders of this court, we direct that the State shall release the fund to the respective Zilla Parishad for making payment to the Petitioners within three months from today and on receipt of the fund within eight weeks, Zilla Parisad shall make payment to the Petitioners of the amount due and payable as per the order of this court of which Contempt is alleged.
With these observations, Contempt Petitions are disposed of. (SANDEEP V. MARNE, J) (ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) 4/4
