3 OCTOBER 2022 P.C. :- A very limited grievance is raised in the Petition, i.e. to direct Respondent No.1 to decide the Appeal filed by the Petitioner within a specified period. By inviting our attention to the documents placed on record, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the SubDivisional Officer, Mangalwedha by order dated 21st March 2022 directed externment of the Petitioner from Districts - Solapur, Satara and Sangli for a period of two years.

Being aggrieved by the said order of S.D.O., the Petitioner preferred the Appeal before the Appellate Authority i.e. the Divisional Commissioner, Pune. A copy of the Appeal is placed on record at Exhibit D Page 25, which shows that it is numbered as 19 of 2022 and date of Kanchan P Dhuri 1 / 2

19-WP-3012-2022.odt filing is 29th March 2022. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Appeal would render infructuous if directions are not issued to decide it within a specified time.

Considering the facts and circumstances, it would be appropriate to dispose off the Petition with direction to Respondent No.1 - Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division to decide the Appeal No.19 of 2022 filed by the Petitioner as early as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of the order of this court. 4.

The learned AGP to communicate the order to Respondent No.1.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
