Mr. Bandiwadekar, the learned counsel for the Petitioners seeks leave to delete the names of Respondents No.6 and 7 from the cause title of the petitions. Leave granted. Amendment to be be carried out forthwith. Re-verification is dispensed with. Rule.

The learned AGPs waive service for the Respondents. By consent of the parties the matters are taken up for final disposal.

The issue involved in all these petitions are identical and thus being heard together and are being disposed of by a common order.

Mr. Bandiwadekar, the learned counsel for the Petitioners states that during pendency of these petitions, the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur has granted approval to the proposal forwarded by the Management for individual approval of each of the Petitioner on the post of Shikshan Sevak as well as the Assistant Teacher. He tenders copies of the orders passed by the Education Officer for perusal of this court. The learned AGPs do not dispute this position. 2/3

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that though the Education Officer has granted individual approval to the appointment of the Petitioners on the post of Shikshan Sevak and Assistant Teacher, the names of the Petitioners are not included in the Shalarth Pranali and the consequential benefits are not provided. Since the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur has already granted approval to the appointment of the Petitioner on the post of Shikshan Sevak as well as the Assistant Teacher, we direct the Dy. Director of Education to record the names of each of these petitions in the Shalarth Pranali within 3 weeks from today. The Education Officer (Secondary) shall provide the consequential benefits to the Petitioners including payment of salary from the date of initial appointment of the Petitioner as Shikshan Sevak and thereafter as Assistant Teacher on their pay-scale within six weeks from today. The Writ Petitions are made absolute in the aforesaid terms.

Rule is made absolute accordingly.

No order as to costs.
