By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking direction against respondent nos. 2 and 3 to register the petitioner'

s passenger bus, having Chasis No. MB1PBEJD9LAHL2886 purchased on 27th March, 2020 and having Sale Certificate dated 28th March, 2020 immediately.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made an application for Registration of the Digitally signed by UDAY SHIVAJI JAGTAP Date:

2021.07.29 17:27:19 +0530 motor vehicle as per Rule 47 in Form No.20 on 30th April, UDAY SHIVAJI JAGTAP

2020. He also paid the registration charges by E-Fee receipt. He relies on Exhibit-G, on page 24 of the present petition.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's case is fully covered by the order dated 28th June, 2021 passed by this Hon'ble Court in Writ Petition No. 2209 of 2021 (M/s. Infinity Cars Pvt. Ltd. Vs. State of Maharashtra). He submits that in view of this fact, the respondent no.2 may be directed to consider the petitioner' s application on its own merits and decide the same as early as possible.

The learned AGP for respondent - State submits that in view of Covid-19 pandemic situation, they will take some time to decide the application.

Considering the submissions made by learned Counsel for the petitioner and order passed by this Court in Writ Petition 2209 of 2021, we are satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for following order :-

ORDER

(a) Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are directed to decide the petitioner's application for registration of a motor vehicle duly submitted in Form 20 as early as possible but in any case, on or before 31st August, 2021 on its own merits and

inform the petitioner about the same.

(b) The Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. (c) Parties to act on an authenticated copy of this order. (PRITHVIRAJ K. CHAVAN, J.) (K.K. TATED, J.)
