This is the second bail application preferred by the applicant. After arguing for some time, when the Court was not inclined to enlarge the applicant on bail, learned counsel for the applicant sought leave to withdraw this application. He, however, requests that the trial of the applicant be expedited.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, considering the fact that the applicant is in custody since 2017, and that charge has been framed in the aforesaid case on 27th December N. S. Chitnis 1/2

40-ba.2509.2021.doc 2019 and till date not a single witness has been examined, the trial of the applicant is expedited. The learned Judge to conclude the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event within one year from the date of receipt of this order.

Registry to communicate the order passed today either by fax/ e-mail or a Special Messenger, to the learned Judge, who is seized of the said case, being Sessions Case No.367 of the 2017. 4.
