Heard learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petition is filed seeking direction to the police authorities to investigate the cause of death of the Petitioner's son.

The documents annexed to the petition itself disclose that the police have enquired into the cause of death of Petitioner's son and they have found that Petitioner's son died in an unfortunate accident, namely, shock due to electrocution. Accordingly, they have informed the Petitioner that no cognizable offence is disclosed. In these circumstances, we do not see any reason to entertain the petition and the same is accordingly dismissed.
