Today when the matter is called out none present for the applicant. Earlier also none appeared for the applicant. Mr Abhishek Kulkarni is appointed to espouse the cause of the applicant.

The learned APP has drawn my attention to two orders : one dated 3 August 2017, passed by the trial Court, which rejected the bail application of the applicant; and another order of 3 March 2023, passed by this Court in Bail Applicaiton No.4165 of 2021. The APP informs the Court that the trial is nearing its conclusion, with only the

Chitra Sonawane. 2 6-BA-1406-2023.doc investigating officer remaining to be examined. Considering the fact that the trial is at the fag end and likely to conclude soon, this Court is not inclined to grant bail. The application stands dismissed.
