Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions submits that the petitioner is restricting the prayers in the petition to the extent of seeking direction to the appellate authority i.e. Divisional Commissioner (Revenue), Pune Division, Pune, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, expeditiously. 2.

In the light of submissions made across bar, we direct the appellate authority i.e. Divisional Commissioner (Revenue), Pune Division, Pune, to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner, if already not decided, within two weeks from receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.

We make it clear that we have not entered upon the contentions raised on merits in the present petition and it is for the appellate authority to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner, on its own merits.

Needless to observe that while deciding the appeal the appellate authority shall adhere to the principles of natural justice and communicate the decision, so taken, to the petitioner. 6.

Learned APP to communicate this order to the appellate authority i.e. Divisional Commissioner (Revenue), Pune Division, Pune, by the fastest mode of communication.
