In the instant case, the Appeal filed by the Petitioner is pending before the Divisional Commissioner (Supplies), Konkan Division i.e. Respondent No.1 herein. It seems that the said Appeal has been heard on numerous occasions, but has not been disposed of. The Learned AGP on instructions states that the Appeal would be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court. Considering the fact that the Appeal is pending for the last 18 months, the Petitioner to appear before the Appellate Authority i.e. Divisional Commissioner (Supplies), Konkan Division on 28.07.2015 at 3.00 p.m. The Appeal thereafter to be disposed of within two weeks i.e. on or before 11.08.2015. With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
