DATE : 17 FEBRUARY, 2015 P.C. :- 1] This petition questions the order dated 23 July 2013 made by the State Government in the matter of entries in the revenue records.

2] It is settled position in law that mere entries in revenue records are not determinative of title. In such circumstances, it is always open to the petitioners to institute civil suit before the appropriate forum and in case the same is instituted then the said forum shall decide the same uninfluenced either by the orders made in the present petition or the non entertainment of the present petition.

skc 23-wp-6270-14 3] It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter and all issues with regard to title or otherwise are specifically left open for decision by the appropriate forum.
