On 24th January, 2023 none appeared for the petitioner. As such, matter is adjourned to 6th February, 2023 i.e. for today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also, none appears. 2.

The petitioner claiming to be an advocate by profession and also a political activist has approached the respondent/police department seeking registration of offence against the political persons under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act. 3.

The said request made by the petitioner is based on hearsay information received by him.

It appears that the police authorities, particularly, Azad BGP.

Maidan Police Station has forwarded complaint of the petitioner to Anti-Corruption Bureau, who has already vide communication dated 24th May, 2021 communicated that the offence is not made out. 5.

Learned APP in the aforesaid background submits that but for bald allegation, there is any material to infer the issue of commission of offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act. There appears to be substance in the submissions of learned APP, as the perusal of the letter issued by the petitioner which relies on the letter of an accused, API Sachin Vaze does not disclose any cognizable offence.
