Heard.

The grievance of the petitioner is that some unauthorized person was sitting in the Chair of Talathi Saja Davadi, Taluka Kalyan. District Thane and discharging official duties. The petitioner had also noticed that some unauthorized persons surveying Govternment land. This was intimated to the SubDivisional Officer, Kalyan Region, Kalyan. The petitioner has annexed a communication made by the Sub-Divisional Officer, on 24th February, 2014 in which it is stated that, if such incidents are 1/2

o7)PIL161.14 noticed in future, the Government Officer shall be suspended. The grievance of the learned counsel for the petitioner is, the State has not taken any action against the concerned Talathi. We direct the Collector, Thane, to look into the matter and, if it is found that the concerned Talathi had misused his position, than appropriate action be taken.

Petition is disposed of.
