By these petitions, the petitioners have impugned the order dated 29th March 2019 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mumbai, below Exhibit 4 in Criminal Appeal Nos. 924/2016 to 938/2016, by which the petitioners were directed to pay interim compensation to the respondent No. 2.

Since the hearing of all the aforesaid appeals is being expedited before the learned Sessions Judge, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 does not press for deposit of the interim compensation amount as directed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge vide order dated 29th March 2019 passed below Exhibit 4 in all the aforesaid criminal appeals i.e. Criminal Appeal Nos. 924/2016 to 938/2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioners also states that the petitioners will cooperate with the expeditious disposal of all the criminal appeals and that they will not seek adjournments before the learned Sessions Judge and will cooperate in the hearing of all the 15 appeals. In view of the aforesaid, by consent, the impugned order dated 29th March 2019 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge below Exhibit 4 in all the 15 criminal appeals i.e. Criminal Appeal Nos. 924/2016 to 938/2016 is quashed and set-aside. The appeals are of the year 2016. Considering the same, the hearing of all the 15 appeals is expedited. The learned Sessions Judge shall decide the said appeals as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 31st December 2021. The Petitions are disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
