Earlier, the Petitioner had filed writ petition being Writ Petition No. 535 of 2017, making grievance against the police officers. When the petition was placed for orders on 22nd February 2017, the Petitioner sought leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the State Police Complaint Authority. This Court accordingly disposed of the said writ petition by granting liberty as prayed for. 2.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that subsequent to the order dated 22nd February 2017, the Petitioner had approached the State Police Complaint Authority with his complaint. The grievance in the present petition is that though this complaint is filed on 25th February 2017, so far no action is taken on the said complaint. In our considered view, the Petitioner in this patilsr 1 / 2

regard is always at liberty to approach the said Authority for expeditious hearing on his complaint. This Court is not aware about the pendency of complaints / matters before the said Authority. Therefore, the Petitioner cannot claim special treatment. Neither any reasons are disclosed as to why the Petitioner should get special treatment; his complaint will be decided in due course. 3.
