Applicant has requested this Court to permit her to change the Advocate on record who was appointed by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai to represent her and to appoint Advocate Mr. Aniket Vagal in her place.

Present Appeal is circulated by Advocate Mr. Vagal by his praecipe dated 26th July, 2022.

ssm 2 1-ia1732.22.doc Record indicates that, initially Advocate Mrs. Farhana Shah was appointed by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai to represent Appellant as the Appellant was unable to appoint an Advocate at her own costs. Mrs. Farhana Shah has filed the present Appeal on behalf of the Appellant. Applicant has now requested this Court to cancel appointment of Mrs. Farhana Shah and to permit her to appoint an Advocate of her own choice.

In view of the above, for discharging the Advocate appointed by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai, the Applicant is directed to pay a cost of Rs.10,000/- to the Kirtikar Law Library, High Court, Mumbai within a period of two weeks from today. Subject to payment of cost to the said Library, Mrs. Farhana Shah is discharged and Advocate Mr. Vagal is permitted to file Vakalatnama on behalf of the Applicant/Appellant.
