The petitioner in the petition seeks directions to respondent no.3 to decide the Appeal filed by the petitioner under the Maharashtra Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Township Act, 1965 as expeditiously as possible. 2.

In case, the Appeal is filed by the petitioner before respondent no.3-Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, the

Rane 2/2 SR.69 Divisional Commissioner is bound to decide and the same shall be decided on its own merits, expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from today.
