DATE : 25 OCTOBER 2021 P.C. :- The learned APP has shown to us the communication received by the Office of the Public Prosecutor from the Superintendent of Nasik Road Central Prison that the Petitioner has been released on emergency parole on 23 June 2020 and therefore, this application does not survive. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner also accepts this position.

We note that the communication from the prison addressed to the Registrar of this Court annexing the application of

The Petition is placed before the Court on 30 September 2021 that is almost after a year. The Registrar (Judicial-I) will look into this situation and take necessary steps that such delays do not occur in other matters in future. SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.
