DATED: 1st JUNE, 2017 P.C.:- This petition came to be filed by the petitioner espousing grievance of not only him, but the public so far as the delay in putting up the Foot Over Bridge (FOB) within the railway station premises at Daund in the district of Pune. When the matter was kept pending on 12th August 2009, the respondent submitted that FOB would be completed within 42 months. Apparently, in the month of January 2015, the new FOB was constructed after demolishing the old unused FOB. Therefore, the main grievance of the petitioner with regard to delay in constructing Foot Over Bridge is no longer in existence. It is submitted that during the pendency of the petition, grievance was addressed with regard to providing a ramp for the disabled persons. Since Daund station is a busy junction Tilak

2/2 (235)wp-810.08 and the authorities were unable to provide a ramp for want of space, instead they have provided four lifts at the railway station for the benefit of disabled and aged persons. Therefore, the grievance of disabled and other persons is addressed by the respondent authorities.
