The present application is filed for impleading the applicant as a party. The learned counsel for the original writ petitioner submits that the original writ petitioner has filed the petition on the premise that the acquisition stands lapsed. The learned counsel submits that the land of the original writ petitioner was acquired and part was allotted to the present applicant.

We have heard the learned counsel for the original writ petitioner. Considering the nature of the dispute raised by the original writ petitioner, the present applicant would be necessary and proper party.

In the light of that, the Interim Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

The original writ petitioner shall take appropriate steps to implead the applicant as a party.
