The case of the petitioner is that though it is a permit room of its hotel and is not on State Highway, still the Excise Department of the State Government is not renewing its license to operate the liquor permit room.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will submit detailed representation with supporting documents before the Licensing Authority for renewal of license of N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2
506-wp-6207-2017 the said permit room and the said authority be directed to consider the same in accordance with law taking into consideration the petitioner's contention that the permit room is not situated within 500 meters of the State Highway.

Keeping in view the aforesaid limited prayer we are inclined to dispose of the petition granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a detailed representation supporting renewal of its license in accordance with law. The petitioner to submit the representation along with requisite fees within one week from today. 4.
On receipt of the same, the Competent Authority of the Excise Department shall consider it and shall pass a reasoned order within two week from the date of the receipt. With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of.
