Heard rival arguments on this application for bail during pendency of appeal.

The applicant/original accused No.1 was convicted for the offence punishable under Section 13(1)(e) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and was sentenced to suffer SI for three years and fine of Rs.1 Lakh. Reportedly, the fine amount is already paid. During the trial and after the conviction, the applicant was granted 1 / 2

Considering the case against him and sentence of three years, in the opinion of this Court present application can be allowed as the final hearing of the appeal will take sometime. As such, the applicant be released on bail as granted by the trial Court with fresh bonds to be executed before the trial Court. The applicant shall give her detailed present residential address and contact number to ACB, CBI, Mumbai i.e. the prosecuting Agency and inform the Agency in the event of change in the address. Application is disposed of accordingly.
