Learned Counsel Mr. Venegaonkar submits that although the police had issued notice to applicant, the applicant had not appeared for the purpose of verification. Similarly, even after issuance of notice by the passport authority, the applicant had not appeared before the passport authority. In view of this, the applicant is at liberty to file fresh application before the passport authority, which shall be considered in accordance with law. In view of this, Criminal Application No. 785 of 2019 stands disposed of accordingly.
