The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking Writ of Mandamus to select him in pursuance to the examination which were conducted by the Respondent No. 4 in the year 2010. The Petition is filed in the month of June 2014.

In paragraph 12 of the Petition, the Petitioner has graciously stated that the Petitioner has approached this Court as expeditiously as possible. It appears that in the view of the Petitioner four years period is expeditious period.

In our considered view, leave aside any possible explanation, there is no explanation even for a namesake for the inordinate delay in approaching this Court.

On this short ground we are not inclined to exercise jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Hence Writ Petition is rejected.
