The aforesaid applications are for suspension of sentence and releasing the applicant on bail. 2.
The applicant is convicted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for six months and to pay a compensation of Rs.3,67,500/-, in-default of payment of compensation, to N.S. Kamble page 1 of 3
further undergo simple imprisonment for one year, by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 64th Court, Esplanade Court, Mumbai in C.C. No.5772/SS/2012 by its judgment and order dated 20-12-2014. The Criminal Appeal No.53/2015 preferred by the applicant has been dismissed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Greater Mumbai by its judgment and order dated 21-11-2015.

This Court by its order dated 15-06-2016 in Criminal Application No.332/2016 has suspended the sentence imposed upon the applicant on certain terms and conditions. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that her client has complied with the conditions imposed by this Court by an order dated 15-06-2016. In view of the fact that the substantive sentence imposed upon the applicant is six months of simple imprisonment, the substantive sentence is hereby suspended during the pendency of the appeal. Hence order.
ORDER
(i) The applicant be released on bail and furnish P.R. N.S. Kamble page 2 of 3
bond of Rs.15,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount.
