Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned APP for the Respondents/State.

The learned APP has tendered across the bar the report prepared by the concerned Sub Inspector of Police, Waliv Police Station. The same is taken on record.

It is submitted by the learned APP that already the Petitioner is communicated that her application has been filed. lgc

(5) cri.wp-2607.21.odt We are satisfied from the contents of the said report that this is not a case wherein this Court should invoke writ jurisdiction or the jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code and give direction to the concerned police station.

If the Petitioner is advised, she may file appropriate proceedings under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code before the concerned Magistrate for redressal of her grievance.

With the above observations, this Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to avail of appropriate remedy as is available in law. We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the contentions raised in this Petition.
