IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO. 9175 OF 2016 WITH WRIT PETITION NO. 9192 OF 2016 Punjab National Bank ...
Petitioner Vs.
The Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai & Ors.
... Respondents None for the parties.
CORAM : B.R. GAVAI AND RIYAZ I. CHAGLA, JJ.
DATE : 12 JUNE 2017.
P.C.:- 1.
When both the matters were listed on 5th June 2017, none appeared for the Petitioner and as such we directed to keep the matter on today's board. However today none appears for the Petitioner. 2.
The Petitioner in turn challenges the order dated 31st March 2016 passed by the learned Registrar DRAT, Mumbai, vide which the Registrar has refused to register the Appeal on ground of non removal of office objection.

The perusal of record before DRAT as well as before this Court clearly shows that the Petitioner is thoroughly negligent in pursuing remedies. Inspite of giving five chances before DRA, the Petitioner has failed to remove office objections and thereafter when the same is challenged before this Court, neither the Petitioner nor his counsel remained present when the matters were called out. 4.
In that view of the matter, both the Writ Petitions are dismissed. (RIYAZ I. CHAGLA J.) ( B.R. GAVAI J.) 2/2
