The applicant who is the complainant herself who has set the criminal law in motion by registering FIR alleging commission of offences punishable under sections 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 has filed the present application under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for quashing the FIR. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant states that after filing of the application, the applicant has not contacted him. In any case, after investigation, a charge-sheet has been filed by the police. At the instance of the complaint herself, the prayer for quashing cannot be entertained. Accordingly, the application is rejected. However, we have not made any adjudication on merits.
