On instructions, it is stated by Ms. Bhende that the competent authority will allow the petitioner to appear before it for counselling and indicate her preference / choice of institution and execute an indemnity bond in the prescribed form. 2.

In the circumstances and accepting the statement made by Ms. Bhende as undertaking to this Court, we direct that if the SRP 1/2

WPST16079.16.doc petitioner presents herself before the competent authority and is ready and willing to execute the indemnity bond in the prescribed format, let the petitioner be allowed to participate in the further process subject to the orders passed in this writ petition. 3.

As we have noted that the petitioner has to obtain a caste certificate validity which has to be granted after verification and scrutiny by the Caste Scrutiny Committee at Akola, let the petition be returned to Mr. Bhutekar for presentation to the Nagpur Bench of this Court.
