Heard. This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an appeal against acquittal. The delay is of 58 days. 2.

For the reasons assigned in paragraphs 3 and 4 of the application, the delay of 58 days needs to be condoned in the interest of justice.

The learned counsel for Respondent No.1 has vehemently opposed to grant/ allow the application.

However, in the interest of justice, the application deserves to be allowed. Hence, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and stands disposed of.
