By this petition sent through jail, the petitioner seeks a direction to the trial Court to conclude his case as expeditiously as possible. We are informed by Mr. Saste, learned Addl. P.P that all the witnesses have been examined and the matter is posted for recording of the statement of the petitioner/accused under Section 313 on 15th April 2024.

2-WP-1804-2023.doc Considering the fact that the appellant is in custody since 2015, for about 9 years, we deem it appropriate to direct the learned Sessions Judge to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within three months from the date of receipt of this order.

The Registry to communicate this order to the learned Sessions Judge, Vasai, seized of Sessions Case No. 17/2016 either telephonically or by fax/email/special messenger. Registry to also furnish a copy of this order through the Superintendent, Thane Central Prison, to the petitioner, who is lodged at Thane Central Prison.

Petition is disposed of.
