Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

By this petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Malegaon to expedite the hearing of the Sessions Case No. 86 of 2019, pending before the said Court as expeditiously as possible and preferably within three months. 3.
Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been arraigned as accused in C.R. No. 91 of 2016 registered with the Nandgaon Police Station for the alleged offences Trupti 1/3
punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 307, 323, 324, 325, 326 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned Counsel submits that one of the petitioners i.e. petitioner No.4 - Samadhan Uttam Sangle is selected for the post of constable in the Maharashtra Police Department. Learned Counsel further submits that in order to complete the selection process, the pendency of the said case will come in his way, including documentation and police verification. It is his apprehension that if the said case is not expedited, he would not be able to complete the selection process. 4.
It is not in dispute that the police verification will come in the way of petitioner No.4 -Samadhan Uttam Sangle. 5.
Considering the aforesaid, we are inclined to allow the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Malegaon to complete the said case as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.

Needless to state, that the prosecution to co-operate in the expeditious disposal of the said case, by keeping its witnesses present on the dates given by the trial Court.

Needless to also state, that the petitioners to also co-operate in the expeditious disposal of their case.

The petition is accordingly disposed of in above terms.
