Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant. Prayer (a) of this application, reads thus: "a) That the Petitioner be permitted to contest the ensuing election to Mira Bhayander Corporation pending hearing and final disposal of the present petition."

If the Applicant/ Petitioner is eligible to contest the General Ward Election of the Municipal Corporation, he can always do so. This Court cannot grant permission to the Petitioner to contest the election.
