By these petitions, the petitioners seek quashing and setting aside of the cases registered qua them, in view of the amicable N. S. Chitnis 1/2

41-wp.2625&2532.2021.doc settlement between the parties in both the criminal cases. 2.

After arguing for some time, when the Court was not inclined to consider the prayer for quashing by consent, on the ground of amicable settlement between the parties, learned counsel for the petitioners in both the petitions sought leave to withdraw the aforesaid petitions.

Petitions are accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

Needless to state, that it is always open for any of the petitioners to file an independent petition/application for quashing of the proceedings qua them, on merits.
