At the outset, learned APP states that the trial has commenced and the victim is in the witness box and is facing crossexamination. Considering the statement made by the learned APP, learned counsel for the Applicant does not press this Application. Accordingly, the Application is disposed of as not pressed in the aforesaid terms. However, since the trial has commenced, the learned Judge shall conclude the case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within nine months from the date of receipt of this order.
