The appellant has preferred this appeal against the judgment and order dtd.16/04/2019, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, in Sessions Case No. 701 of 2016, whereby the appellant has been convicted for the offence punishable under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code, and sentenced to suffer R. I. for two and half years, and pay fine of Rs.2,000, with default stipulation.

The substantive sentence imposed by the learned Sessions Judge stands suspended during the pendency of this appeal, and the appellant/applicant is directed to be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) and a surety in the like amount.
