DATE : December 12, 2018 Pursuant to the order dated 26/11/2018 affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent. The same is taken on record. As per this affidavit the entire amount of arrears to which the petitioner was entitled has been calculated and paid.
Accepting the statements made in the affidavit, I do not find any reason to keep the Contempt petition pending. The proceedings are accordingly dropped. Needless to state that if according to the petitioner there is some difference in calculations, it is open for him to take such steps as are permissible in law.
Contempt Petition is disposed of.
