By the above Petition, the Petitioner seeks a declaration that no performance or premises licence is required to be obtained by the Petitioner for the performance of dance by artists and on recorded music. It seems that now the Government of Maharashtra has changed its policy in so far as the grant of performance licence is concerned. In any event, since none appears for the Petitioner, the Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
