The Applicant was granted bail by the Sessions Court vide order dated 29th May 2017. The Applicant was released on furnishing one or two sureties to the tune of Rs.50,000/- and PR bond in the like amount. However, since the Applicant could not furnish sureties, he preferred an application before the Sessions Court on 31st May 2017 stating that he may be permitted to provide cash bail in lieu of surety. The Sessions Court by order dated 1st June 2017 permitted the Applicant to be released on furnishing cash security with a direction that surety be furnished on or before 8th June 2017. Since the Applicant could not furnish the surety, he preferred another application for extension of cash security. That application was rejected on 8th June 2017. Hence, the Applicant has preferred present application.
