This Petition takes an exception to the order dated 17 June 2021 passed by Additional Sessions Judge Mumbai in special case No. CBI/0100035/2017. By the order impugned, the trial Court directed the present Applicant who is Accused No. 2 before the trial Court, to give specimen signatures.

The learned counsel for the Respondent No. 2/CBI on instructions states that pursuant to the order impugned the Investigating Officer has obtained specimen signatures of Applicant and the Investigating Officer has even submitted the report of Hand Writing Expert in that respect to the trial Court. The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant was not heard before passing the order impugned. However, in view of the subsequent developments, present Application has become infructuous.
