Having heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for the State, we deem it convenient to dispose of this writ petition by directing Respondent No.2 to dispose of as expeditiously as possible and preferably within the period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order the Petitioner's representations dated 18th March 2016 and 9th May 2016 for release of the surplus vacant land out of the property bearing Survey No.25, Hissa No.1, CTS. No.54 admeasuring 2763.40 sq. mtrs. situte at Tungwe, Kurla, Ordered accordingly.

It is clarified that this Court has not at all gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No. 2 shall decide the said representations in accordance with law on their own merits. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open. 3.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
