By filing this writ petition, the Petitioner has challenged the action of the Respondents in accepting his resignation vide order dated 30th September 2014. We find that Petitioner submitted his resignation voluntarily on 30th September 2014 requesting the Respondents to accept the same forthwith and stating therein that he is ready to pay one month's salary in lieu of one month's notice and for the immediate acceptance of resignation.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that resignation was submitted by the Petitioner under pressure exerted upon the Petitioner by the Respondents and in patilsr 1 / 2

the circumstances, on 14th November 2014 the Petitioner submitted an application seeking withdrawal of his resignation. 4.

Having considered the submissions advanced by the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we find no force in the contention raised by the Petitioner. The resignation appears to have been given voluntarily which has been accepted immediately as per the Petitioner's own request. The contention that the resignation was given by the Petitioner on account of the pressure exerted upon him by the Respondents cannot be accepted for the reason that in the letter dated 14th November 2014 seeking withdrawal of the resignation the Petitioner did not make any allegation on the Respondents that they pressurised him to submit resignation. On the other hand, in the said application the Petitioner has stated that for his domestic reasons he had submitted the resignation. In the circumstances, we find no ground to interfere in the matter in a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petition fails and we hereby dismiss it.
