By this application, the applicant seeks expeditious disposal of his trial in S.C.C No.416997 of 2015 which is pending before the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate, Shivaji Nagar, Pune, within six months.

The applicant is the original complainant who had filed a complaint as against the respondent-accused in Chennai in December, 2014 for the alleged offence punishable under section

138 r/w 141 of the Negotiable Instrument Act (for short "N.I. Act") . It appears that subsequently in view of the amendment in the N.I Act, the said case was returned by the learned Magistrate of the Fast Track Court at Egmore, Chennai for presentation before the appropriate Court. Pursuant thereto, the applicant filed the aforesaid complaint in the Court of the learned J.M.F.C, Shivaji Nagar, Pune on 19th September, 2015 and the said case was numbered as SCC No.416997 of 2015.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the plea of the accused has been recorded in the said case and the evidence of P.W.1 i.e of the applicant (original complainant) is over. She submits that thereafter there is no progress in the said case.

Considering that the case is of the year 2014, the trial is expedited. The learned J.M.F.C, Shivaji Nagar Pune to dispose of the S.C.C No. 416997 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within nine months from the date of receipt of this order.

The application is accordingly disposed of.
